How long do SubliJet inks last?

Sublimation inks do have a shelf life, so leaving them in the printer too long can cause issues in printing. A good rule of thumb is to use the cartridges within 6 months of installing them.

What is the difference between printer ink and sublimation ink?

Sublimation ink, like Sawgrass Sublijet-R ink, produce prints that are more durable and resistant to fading than normal printer ink. The dye sublimation process doesn't deposit ink on the surface, but transfers the dye into the substrate through the sublimation process which results in a more permanent image.
