OVERVIEW

CerMark Ultra Black Aerosol is a ready-to-use, ethanol-based laser marking solution that creates permanent, high-quality marks on a variety of hard surfaces, including:

  • Metals: Stainless steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, copper, chrome plating, nickel, and similar metals
  • Glass
  • Ceramics (glazed or unglazed)
  • Stone
  • Brick (glazed or unglazed)
  • Slate

CerMark Ultra Black Aerosol is made in the USA and is formulated with a patented laser bonding technology that creates a strong, durable bond between the mark and the substrate. The marks are resistant to common strong acids, bases, organic solvents, extreme heat or cold, salt spray, scratch resistance, and weathering.

CerMark Ultra Black Aerosol is easy to use. Simply shake the can well and spray the desired area. The mark will dry quickly and will not rub off on fingers. The 12oz can cover approximately 2700 square inches. The 2oz can cover approximately 450 square inches.

Note: CerMark Ultra Black Aerosol is not designed for use on painted items, wood, or plastics.

  1. Update review of JP Plus0 people found this helpful

I really appreciate the response. Will continue to order for JP Plus. Great customer service. Sometimes things don't work out, it's fine, it won't stop me from ordering....I do love JP Plus products and pricing...you can't beat them! Thanks again!

  2. Cleaning nozzle0 people found this helpful

I also had the clogged nozzle problem. I put the nozzle in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner with water in it. I ran it for 3 minutes then I blew the nozzle dry with compressed air. That cleared up my trouble. This also worked with the LMM6000 spray. I am ordering more.

  3. Good product - when it's not clogged1 people found this helpful

I purchased the 2oz to test and used it about 5-6 times. Stored the nozzle in alcohol so it wouldn't dry out. However, now it won't spray at all....so disappointed with this product...especially for the price. Would love a response from JPP as to what's going wrong with it.

    Response from JPPlus

Thank you for your review, Deniera. We checked with the manufacturer, and they said because the test size will only cover about 400 sq. inches, it's only good for about 4-6 sprays/uses from the container. Our customer service department will reach out to you shortly to try and help with the issue.

  4. Works on multiple surfaces3 people found this helpful

I usually use Lmm6000 but this was appealing because it could be used on multiple materials including glass. I also like that you can order smaller spray can sizes because I have had multiple lmm6000 cans go bad sitting on the shelf after only a couple months(climate controlled too). It has worked great on glass as I had hoped. Every material I have engraved with it comes out pitch black. I had to play with it a little to figure out the settings. ALSO!!!!!! Make sure you put a thick coat! Lmm6000 only requires a decent layer but this one does seem to need a couple passes to ensure will get the rich black coat you are looking for. Great Versatile product if you are switching materials all the time like me!!!

  5. Not easier, faster, or better0 people found this helpful

Looks identical to, and performs the same as LMM14. Leaves a grey/graphite color mark, not a black mark. And easily sands off. Hard to spray evenly because it's a very fine mist. I'll stick with using LMM6000.
