  • Prints on Cotton- VersiFlex produces vibrant full-color transfers on cotton shirts, canvas, wood, ceramics, and many other materials that traditional sublimation cannot handle. Workflows that once required separate DTF or DTG equipment can now be completed on a desktop Sawgrass printer.
  • Light Substrates Only- VersiFlex does not print white ink, so it's best suited for light-colored materials. Test on sample pieces first, especially natural materials like wood and stone, where texture and porosity can affect results.
  • Smarter Black with the Expander Cartridge- Instead of a traditional black ink cartridge, VersiFlex uses a unique Expander cartridge. Dark tones are created by blending Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow (CMY), helping the ink bond better with natural fibers for a softer, more durable finish. This process also produces clean edges, smooth gradients, and seamless color transitions, while avoiding the cracking or fading that can occur when black pigment inks sit on top of fibers like cotton.
  • Still Prints Traditional Sublimation- Use VersiFlex ink with VersiFlex Light paper for cotton, or pair the same ink set with TruePix sublimation paper and the correct color profiles for traditional sublimation. One printer handles both sides of your product catalog.
  • Self-Weeding Transfer Paper- VersiFlex transfer paper automatically removes excess material, so only your design transfers to the final product—no cutting, trimming, extra film, or HTV weeding required.
  • Cleaner and Softer Than DTF- VersiFlex bonds dye directly to cotton fibers, creating a soft, breathable finish instead of the stiff layer DTF leaves behind—with no powders, adhesive sheets, or curing ovens required.
  • Proven Durability- Enjoy vibrant, crack- and peel-resistant prints for up to 30 washes on fabric, based on Sawgrass ISO-standard wash testing. The water-based, solvent-free inks are OEKO-TEX certified, REACH compliant, and RoHS certified, and are engineered and manufactured in Charleston, South Carolina.
