How to sublimate mugs without a mug press?

If a mug is to large for a mug press, sublimating can be done using a convection oven and shrink sleeves, or shrink wraps. To achieve this, you’ll need a sublimation ready mug, ink, paper, tape, convection over and mug wraps or silicone wraps.

How do you use a mug wrap for sublimation?

Place mug wrap or silicone wrap around the mug. These wraps are designed to hold the sublimation paper tightly against the mug and ensure even pressure during the heating process. Fasten the wrap securely according to the manufacturer’s instructions and follow the tech tips for pressing.

Do beer steins make good gifts?
