Get stunning reproduction of colors of the rainbow with Epson DS sublimation paper. Perfect for use in the Epson SureColor sublimation printer, this high-quality paper has a wide color gamut, making it ideal for both soft surface and hard surface projects.
Epson DS sublimation paper is perfect for transfer to fabrics such as t-shirts, tote bags, and socks, as well as hard surfaces like drinkware, coasters, bottle openers, photo panels, and more!
Epson DS transfer sublimation paper is engineered to maximize ink transfer efficiency while minimizing issues like warping and ghosting. Engineered to combat these challenges, this paper ensures that designs transfer crisply and cleanly to substrates, leading to higher-quality products.
The specially formulated paper also reduces ink waste, so more sublimation ink makes its way onto the product, rather than remaining soaked into the paper: translating to cost savings and a boost to your bottom-line over time.

Does this paper have a shelf life or expiration date?
The average shelf life for transfer paper is approximately one year, if stored in its plastic bag away from high humidity or very dry conditions. The product comes with documentation, providing specific handling and storage instructions.
How does the thickness and quality of the Epson DS paper affect the transfer process and outcome?
The Epson DS multi-use transfer paper is 4.5 mm thick and has a base weight of 85 g per square meter. It works for both textile and rigid applications and dries instantly. This top-quality transfer paper is designed to maximize the amount of ink transferred from the paper on to the sublimated product.
What kind of substrates work best with the Epson DS transfer multi-use paper?
Substrates are a micro-thin coating of polyester, and this coating is applied to surfaces that are non-sublimatable such as metals or polymers. The Epson DS transfer paper is most suited for light substrates and does not work with dark substrates.
What side of the sublimation paper do you print on?
You should print your image/transfer on the bright white side (the other side is dull). If you're unsure which side is the bright white, bend your paper in half to compare one side to the other. Or keep your paper in the packaging, so the print side is always up, with the label indicating the print side.

- Don’t waste your money0 people found this helpfulThe paper is the same color on both sides so you don’t know which side is the sublimation side. I tried both sides and neither worked well at all. One was faded so clearly the wrong side.. the other side was super grainy like the paper is porous and does not dry instantly.

Thank you for your review, Sarah. We're sorry to hear that this paper is not working out! Our Advanced Support Team will reach out to you shortly to see what we can do to help you out! - Great product0 people found this helpfulColors are vibrant and the ink dries immediately so you do not have to worry when using your cutting machine immediately after printing. Very happy with the product and definitely recommend.
- One hundred stars!0 people found this helpfulI had a serious blowout problem with a heavily saturated sublimation project, and a print shop told me to try this paper. It is completely different than other sub papers I use. It doesn't draw much ink, it dries instantly and there was zero blowout. The price is good too! It is very lightweight and a pleasant surprise. I'm hooked. Please please add 13x19! In all seriousness... I'll never order another paper.
- Great results0 people found this helpfulI have an epson F170 sublimation printer. The DS paper is recommended for this printer. I have had great results with very vibrant colors. I have used the paper to sublimate on mugs and tumblers so far. Definitely recommend for the epson F170 printer. A bonus is the price is very reasonable!
- 11" x 14" 0 people found this helpfulWell, I probably one of the better papers I have used. Just wish they had 11x17. Great color reproduction. You should give it a go. You won't go wrong.
