OVERVIEW

The WallFlair Removable Vinyl for the Roland BN-20A is a premium-quality 6mil vinyl with a special adhesive so it can be removed without damaging the surface to which it was applied. WallFlair is perfect for temporary interior graphics, wallpaper, and posters without the need for special mounting hardware, tapes or glues.

This material can easily be applied to most finished and painted flat surfaces. When it’s time to remove the WallFlair material, you won’t have to worry about any messy residue left behind.

This product won't adhere to unfinished walls and must be applied on a dry surface. Leaving a 1/8" to 1/4" blank border around the printed image is recommended to keep the edges of the material from lifting. It is not recommended to print a full-bleed image with WallFlair.

Should I use permanent or removable vinyl?

Choosing between permanent and removable vinyl depends on your specific needs:

  • Use Permanent Vinyl for: Long-term applications where durability and resistance to elements (like weather or washing) are important. Ideal for outdoor signs, car decals, mugs, or any surface that requires a long-lasting bond.
  • Use Removable Vinyl for: Temporary or short-term projects, indoor decorations, wall decals, and projects where you might need to remove the vinyl without leaving residue or damaging the surface. It's perfect for seasonal decorations, temporary signs, or interior design elements that you plan to change periodically.

Does removable vinyl come off easily?

Yes, removable vinyl is designed to come off easily. It features a special adhesive that allows for easy removal without damaging the surface it's applied to or leaving behind any residue. This makes it ideal for temporary applications where you might need to remove or replace the vinyl without hassle. However, the ease of removal can also depend on the surface it's applied to and the duration of application.

Can you wash removable vinyl?

Generally, removable vinyl used for wall decals or indoor signage is not designed to withstand frequent washing or exposure to water. It may be gently wiped with a damp cloth for cleaning, but submerging it in water or using harsh cleaning agents is usually not recommended. Always check the instructions for the best care practices. For vinyl intended for outdoor use or in areas exposed to water, such as car decals, more durable, water-resistant options are usually chosen.
