- Cool Product - Consistency Issues3 people found this helpfulI was very impressed with this product other than the wood varying so much. As a woodworker I know that the wood will not all be identical but some of them had the softwood incorporated, meaning the very light wood so it looked striped. Not a big deal if this was shown in the product photo. 5 star product if wood was more consistent

There's a lot of variation in wood color, but that is expected with a natural product. These make gorgeous gifts. Will absolutely purchase again!
- Four Coasters, All Different3 people found this helpfulI ordered a group of four coasters to see if I wanted to sell sets in the future. I expect of course that the wood color/grain will vary slightly but what I got surprised me a bit. Two were a darker brown and lighter brown, one was all light, and one looked like the reddish brown shown in the pictures. No way I'd order these, I'd be really unhappy if someone engraved these for me in these colors when I was expecting the acacia wood in the picture.

The coasters are very well made and the quality is consistent throughout. I used to get similar coaster sets from Target but the wood on those were ALWAYS different colors and I had to sand the wood to get a decent finish, not with these. These come ready to engrave The wood is a little soft and will leave an indentation where I use a pencil to mark center so I just mask the wood and and draw my marks lightly and no issues. I LOVE them as do my clients.

WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID "well we have in the description the size per coaster so its per coaster" what sense does that make? of course you would measure the size by 1 coaster, but if the name and description says its a set, common sense would say it sold as a set and the price is per set. you guys could have done a massive amount of business with me. but you lost it. So sad bc i have one of the only wholesale warehouses in GA

We have removed the word "set" from the main description, as the price listed on our site is per coaster (even though the coasters are only available in increments of four). As a company that's been in business for more than 50 years, we don't want to give the appearance that we're trying to rip anyone off. We're human, and with more than 20,000 individual items available, sometimes we write a product description that isn't as clear as it should be.
