OVERVIEW

Unisub Hardboard Subimatable 12" Wood Rounds give you a way to personalize endless signs, door hangers and more for your customers with full-color sublimation.

Creating vibrant designs and transferring them to the bright white side of the hardboard material is super simple and gives you an easy way to expand your sublimation product offering.

Sublimation Wood Round Specs:
  • Single-sided, with the bright white surface being sublimatable.
  • Black side is back of the product and not sublimatable.
  • Made from thick, durable MDF for a long-lasting interior product.
  • Sublimate using a high-quality heat press

PLEASE NOTE: These 12" circle rounds come with a protective mask film that needs to be removed before transferring.

Fabrication Settings:

Time: 50 – 60 seconds
Temperature: 390 - 400° F
Pressure: Moderate

For full step by step instructions, download our tech tip from the downloads tab.

These circle rounds DO NOT include pre-cut holes for hanging, leaving room to add your own hanging system or use as a tabletop display with UN4005 or UN4058. Create holes to hang your sign with from twine with a laser cutter or boring bit and drill.

ADDING HOLES FOR HANGING WITH ROPE OR TWINE:

Laser Cutting Method:

  • Power: 100/Full
  • Speed: 125-200
  • Passes: 1
  • Keep the masking on the hardboard to protect the sublimation surface.
  • Cutting more than 1-2 passes may leave black charring/buildup along the edges
  • After cutting, the edges of the cut pieces can be cleaned by wiping gently with a clean cotton cloth lightly misted with water or isopropyl alcohol.

Drilling method:

  • Make sure masking is removed from hardboard
  • Use a 3/8" flat boring drill bit
  • Use VERY LIGHT pressure to drill through the hardboard material
