ChromaLuxe Maple Natural Wood Veneered Photo Panel
Get a unique wood finish for your full-color image with these ChromaLuxe maple wood panels. The best photo wood on the market, these are extremely easy to personalize with sublimation and offer vibrant results. This veneered panel was made specifically for sublimation, so you will have piece of mind that the wood will absorb the ink and have high quality results.
These low gloss panels come with pre-drilled keyholes on the back so they are ready to hang right after customizing with no extra steps.
Recommended sublimation press settings:
- Time: 1:30 - 2:30 min depending on size
- Temp: 400° F
- Pressure: Moderate - Heavy (it should require some effort to close your press)
Fabrication steps:
- We recommend at least a 0.1" bleed - anything more may cause dyes to show on the side of the panel.
- Print your photo on Johnson Plastics Plus sublimation paper from your sublimation printer and remove the protective masking from the panel.
- Tape your printed transfer to your panel and you’re ready to press! (Do not apply the heat tape to the edge of the wood panel, because it will leave a mark)
- Lay your product transfer paper up and cover with blowout paper on top to protect your platen
- Once finished, open your press slowly, and in one swift motion remove the transfer paper
