    extremely inconsistent results 0 people found this helpful

    even with following directions explicitly and having a press with a pressure "gauge" that allows me to reliable repeat pressure settings. even with lowering the pressure to the point where i can pull the material out of the press i repeatedly have an issue with the ink smearing during pressing. i've lightened up the pressure, set the printer to deposit less ink onto the paper, tried jp plus paper, used another brand of paper i bought for only sublimating on acrylic, tape the material onto the teflon sheet, use ALOT of tape on the sublimation paper, leave it totally alone until room temp still very inconsistent results. i even leave the material on the bottom platten while the press is at correct temp for a couple of minutes.
