Not the greatestIncentivized Review1 people found this helpfulI bought this press as a birthday present for myself. The packing was great and the shipping was extraordinarily fast. I was eager to try it out. When I first plugged it in, I noticed that "new smell" but that smell turned into a stinch that literally drove my whole family outdoors. The entire house stunk. A few minutes later, the smoke alarms went off and when I opened the press, a wall of fumes and smoke came pouring out. I spoke to a sales rep, and he advised me to wrap my blanks in paper to absorb some of the smoke and fumes. It certainly helped but the press still smells up the whole house and sets off the smoke detectors. I have used the press about 10 times and it is still the same. I have since quit using it. Johnson Plastics has excellent customer service. They have been very helpful. I have inquired about a replacement but haven't heard back. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. This press just wasn't a good purchase.
