    I posted above and realized the issue. Note- The glass itself doesn't chip easy. The only reason the glass was scratching was when I was pulling it off the press, the sublimated finish is what was scratching/smudging not the glass itself. For instance with mugs it is nice and easy to pull tape off when hot, do not do that with these. I folded a little piece of corner paper up so I could pull it off easier.
