OVERVIEW

Our high-quality phenolic sheets, available in both white/black/white phenolic and a variety of other colors, are expertly crafted from layers of pigmented paper bonded with melamine resin. Known for their versatility, these sheets are ideal for a range of applications. However, due to the inherent brittleness of phenolic materials, we advise purchasing these sheets in more manageable sizes - either half or quarter sheets. This approach significantly reduces the risk of damage during shipment.

One side is matte and one side is polished

What is the difference between phenolic and PVC?

PVC is a thermoplastic resin, which is a type of plastic that can be softened again through heating. Phenolic is a thermosetting resin that is thermally hardened and never will become soft again.

Is phenolic the same as fiberglass?

Fiberglass has glass fibers in an epoxy, and is quite strong and stiff. Norplex phenolic sheets are layers of pigmented paper in melamine resin.

What is phenolic sheet used for?

Norplex phenolic sheet can be engraved on both sides, making it perfect to use for a sign that is attached to a wall.
