What is the difference between phenolic and PVC?
PVC is a thermoplastic resin, which is a type of plastic that can be softened again through heating. Phenolic is a thermosetting resin that is thermally hardened and never will become soft again.
Is phenolic the same as fiberglass?
Fiberglass has glass fibers in an epoxy, and is quite strong and stiff. Norplex phenolic sheets are layers of pigmented paper in melamine resin.
