This cover protects your ink cartridge print head from scratches and prevents the print head from drying out with the blue silicone pad on the cover.

Any ink cartridge stored outside of the e-mark printer or not in use for a long period of time should be protected with this cover.

Before replacing a used clip on a cartridge, the blue silicone insert pad must be cleaned.
