FLUX Ador™ 2W Infrared Laser Module

The Flux 2W infrared laser module offers added functionality to your Ador™ Laser. Infrared laser engraving technology, also known as IR laser engraving, can be used for marking on various materials such as brass, gold, titanium, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, aluminum, silver, irons plastics, ceramics, and slate.

Easily switch out modules by using a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw at the top of the module, then slide the existing module off the support post. Slide the new module onto the support post using the keyhole on the back of the module and the reattach screw.

This infrared module is not intended for cutting.

Infrared vs Diode?

Infrared lasers are perfect for engraving a wide range of materials and are often preferred for engraving on metals due to their ability to work on highly reflective surfaces. Diode lasers are also versatile and can be used for engraving on various materials, including wood, plastics, leather, and some metals. However, they may have limitations on highly reflective materials.

Can you see infrared laser beams?

You cannot see an infrared laser beam with the naked eye. Infrared laser beams operate in the infrared spectrum, which is outside the range of visible light. As a result, infrared laser beams are invisible to the human eye, which makes them potentially hazardous. When working with infrared lasers, it's crucial to take extra precautions and wear appropriate eye protection designed to block the specific infrared wavelength the laser uses to prevent accidental eye damage.
