I am writing a review for this and the generic sublimination acrylic that JPPlus sells. Having tried both we found that Unisub white is an impressive bright white on the finished product while the generic is more of a creamy white. The Unisub is slightly thicker and therefore needed a slightly higher laser setting to cut. Some people have complained of chipping of the sublimination coating and we have definitely noticed this more with the Unisub but it was eliminated during the laser cutting with the right settings. Omtech 100w with a 60% power at 10mms. We noticed with both materials that it was important to make sure the tape holding the pattern does not touch the sublimination side during heating as it pulls the white off. We also found that it was best to make sure that our printed pattern covered the entire cutout otherwise you have the paper edge imprinted on the reverse (didn't affect the front so minor). Finally spraying the reverse with clear acrylic spray after printing helps prevent the printed edges from chipping but had to make sure this was sprayed in light coats otherwise the pattern on the back runs (not from the front so just aesthetics). We have made some amazing keyrings with this material so I think your choice depends on how white you want the white. My only gripe is the unisub sheets protective cover has been partially peeled on the sheets sent to me. JPP service has been great. Photo compared both types
