    Good on a laser but, clean when you are done 1 people found this helpful

    the laser removes the lacquer very well, and leaves a brushed finish on the exposed brass. the one thing in the tips document that i found very helpful is to wipe down with alcohol when you are finished as the burnt lacquer dust needs to be removed to brighten the engraving the only reason not a 5 star review is the package arrived beat up. two sides of the box were broken open and one of the wooden bases had a damaged corner.
