iColor 2-Step Standard Textile Transfer Media
Toner Heat Transfer printing requires both "Transfer Paper (A)" and "Adhesive Paper (B)." To purchase both together in a kit, click here.
Developed specifically for the iColor 560 and other iColor series printers when a thinner transfer sheet is needed.
The iColor 2-Step Standard paper gives you the ability to transfer full color prints from toner heat transfer printers on to a variety of light and dark colored textiles and garments, including white and fluorescent colors.
The translucent adhesive applied during the 2-step process increases durability, opacity, and vibrancy on your finished product. Using rasterization and increasing negative space in your design will add even more durability and a softer feel on the finished item. This specific paper works at a higher temperature compared to the iColor Premium paper, so care must be taken when pressing onto some types of synthetic material, such as nylon or polyester. Spandex or lycra material is not recommended at the temperature needed for this paper.
ICOLOR 2-STEP STANDARD PAPER ADVANTAGES:
- Great choice when transferring to dark garments
- Good amount of stretch in finished transfer
- Attractive semi-gloss finish
- Strong adhesive which helps prevent images from pulling apart from wear
- Lower cost for a great everyday choice for garment transfers
- Wash life of 40 - 50 washes when washing finished garments inside out in cold or warm water with low agitation
- Available either in 8.3" x 11.7" or 8.27" x 14"
- Sold in packs of 100

TWO STEP PROCESS:
The 2-step paper process requires an "A" sheet that the image is printed on, and a "B" sheet which is the adhesive/glue that bonds the toner to the garment. During the process, the adhesive on the "B" sheet only becomes "sticky" where the toner was printed. When the two sheets are pressed together, it creates a self-weeding transfer. The 2-step process maximizes the wash life and durability of the finished product.
RASTERIZATION:
The process of adding dots and stripes of negative space within a RIP software to soften your design feel on the garment. This also improves the washability and durability of the design, as well as saving you money by reducing the amount of toner used.
